2 Corinthians 4:5
5: We don't go around preaching about ourselves; we preach Christ Jesus, the Lord. All we say about ourselves is that we are your servants because of what Jesus has done for us.
2 Corinthians 1:24
- But that does not mean we want to tell you exactly how to put your faith into practice. We want to work together with you so you will be full of joy as you stand firm in your faith.

Acts 14:11

1 Corinthians 9:19
- This means I am not bound to obey people just because they pay me, yet I have become a servant of everyone so that I can bring them to Christ.
- When I am with the Jews, I become one of them so that I can bring them to Christ. When I am with those who follow the Jewish laws, I do the same, even though I am not subject to the law, so that I can bring them to Christ.
- When I am with the Gentiles who do not have the Jewish law, I fit in with them as much as I can. In this way, I gain their confidence and bring them to Christ. But I do not discard the law of God; I obey the law of Christ.
- When I am with those who are oppressed, I share their oppression so that I might bring them to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone so that I might bring them to Christ.
- I do all this to spread the Good News, and in doing so I enjoy its blessings.
Matthew 20:25
- But Jesus called them together and said, "You know that in this world kings are tyrants, and officials lord it over the people beneath them.
- But among you it should be quite different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant,
- and whoever wants to be first must become your slave.

- He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live to please themselves. Instead, they will live to please Christ, who died and was raised for them.

- Don't ever let anyone call you 'Rabbi,' for you have only one teacher, and all of you are on the same level as brothers and sisters.

- That is the plan I follow, too. I try to please everyone in everything I do. I don't just do what I like or what is best for me, but what is best for them so they may be saved.
